BESCOM (Bruhat Bengaluru Electricity Supply Company Limited) distributes electricity in Bengaluru Urban, Bengaluru Rural, Tumkur, Ramanagara, Kolar, Chikkaballapura and Davanagere districts in Karnataka.
To file a complaint, call 1912 which is available 24 hours from BESCOM service area phones. The toll-free number 1800-425-9820 is also available for consumer queries. For written complaints and billing disputes, use the online grievance form at bescom.org or visit your nearest BESCOM customer care centre with your RR Number (service connection number printed on your bill).
BESCOM is regulated by the Karnataka Electricity Regulatory Commission (KERC). Power restoration timelines set by KERC are 4 hours for urban areas and 8 hours for rural areas under normal fault conditions. Billing disputes must receive a written reply within 15 days.
