TPSODL (Tata Power Southern Odisha Distribution Limited) distributes electricity in South Odisha, covering Ganjam, Gajapati, Kandhamal, Kalahandi, Koraput, Malkangiri, Nabarangpur and Rayagada districts.
Odisha's electricity distribution was privatised to Tata Power in 2021-22 across four zones. For Central Odisha including Bhubaneswar and Cuttack, the company is <a href="https://www.complaintmitra.in/en/support-directory/electricity-tpcodl-odisha-central-complaint" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">TPCODL</a>. For North Odisha, it is TPNODL. For West Odisha including Sambalpur, it is TPWODL.
To file a complaint, call 1912 (24 hours) or toll-free 1800-345-7799. Email customercare@tpsodl.in with your Consumer Number (on your electricity bill), address and a description of the issue. Online complaints can be filed at <a href="https://www.tpsodl.in" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">tpsodl.in</a> under Consumer Services. Note the complaint reference number.
TPSODL is regulated by <a href="https://www.orierc.org" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">OERC (Odisha Electricity Regulatory Commission)</a>. Billing disputes must receive a reply within 15 days. If TPSODL does not resolve satisfactorily, approach the TPSODL Consumer Grievance Redressal Forum (CGRF). Further escalation is to OERC at orierc.org.
