LPG Gas — Cylinder Complaint
Bharat Gas is the LPG brand of Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL), one of India's three government-owned LPG distributors. Common complaints include cylinders delivered underweight, no delivery after booking, PAHAL or DBTL subsidy not credited to bank account, distributor misconduct and safety-related issues.
To file a complaint, call toll-free 1800-22-4344 which is available from 8am to 8pm. Online complaints can be registered at bharatgas.com under Customer Care. Provide your Bharat Gas Consumer Number (on your bill or connection booklet), distributor name and code, and the nature of the complaint.
For PAHAL subsidy issues, verify that your Aadhaar number is correctly linked to your Bharat Gas Consumer Number through your distributor. The subsidy is credited directly to the bank account registered with your LPG Consumer Number.
If the Bharat Gas helpline does not resolve your complaint, escalate via CPGRAMS at pgportal.gov.in by selecting the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas. You can also contact the National Consumer Helpline at 1915.
