LPG Gas — Cylinder Complaint
HP Gas is the LPG brand of Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL), one of India's three government-owned LPG distributors. Common complaints include cylinders delivered underweight, no delivery after booking, PAHAL or DBTL subsidy not credited to the bank account, distributor misconduct and safety concerns.
To file a complaint, call toll-free 1800-2333-555 which is available from 8am to 8pm. You can also send an SMS to 7715012345, or email hpgas@hpcl.co.in with your HP Gas Consumer Number, distributor name and code, and the nature of the complaint. Online registration is available at hpgas.com under Service Request.
For PAHAL subsidy issues, verify that your Aadhaar number is correctly linked to your HP Gas Consumer Number through your distributor. The subsidy is credited directly to the bank account registered with your LPG account.
If the HP Gas helpline does not resolve your complaint, escalate via CPGRAMS at pgportal.gov.in by selecting the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas. You can also contact the National Consumer Helpline at 1915.
