Under the PAHAL scheme (also called DBTL — Direct Benefit Transfer for LPG), the government LPG subsidy is credited directly to the bank account of eligible consumers after each refill booking. If you have not received the subsidy, there are specific steps to follow.
First check the status at mylpg.in using your LPG Consumer Number. If your Aadhaar is not seeded with your LPG account, the subsidy will not be credited. Visit your distributor with your Aadhaar card and ask them to link it to your Consumer Number. This is the most common reason for missed subsidy.
If Aadhaar is already linked, check that the bank account registered on mylpg.in is the same one you are checking. Subsidy goes to the registered account, not necessarily your savings account. Also check that your bank account is active and has been KYC verified.
To file a formal complaint, call 1800-2333-555 (8am to 8pm, toll-free), email feedback@iocl.co.in or use the grievance section at indane.co.in. Mention your Consumer Number, the refill dates for which subsidy was missed and your linked bank account details.
For escalation, use CPGRAMS at pgportal.gov.in (Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas). Note that consumers who opted out of subsidy (Give It Up campaign) are not eligible. ComplaintMitra is not affiliated with IndianOil.
