BWSSB (Bangalore Water Supply and Sewerage Board) is responsible for water supply and sewerage services across Bengaluru city and its extended limits. Common complaints include no water supply, low pressure, contaminated water, pipeline burst or leakage, sewage overflow and billing disputes.
To file a complaint, call 1916 (national water helpline, toll-free, 24/7) or the BWSSB toll-free number 1800-425-2923. Email helpdesk@bwssb.org with your RR Number (on your BWSSB water bill), property address and a description of the problem. Online complaint registration is available at <a href="https://bwssb.karnataka.gov.in" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">bwssb.karnataka.gov.in</a>. Note the complaint number you receive.
BWSSB operates under the Government of Karnataka. Water supply and sewerage complaints are governed by the BWSSB Act and Karnataka Urban Water Supply and Sewerage regulations.
If BWSSB does not resolve satisfactorily, escalate to the BWSSB Grievance Redressal Cell or approach the Karnataka Lokayukta at <a href="https://lokayukta.karnataka.gov.in" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">lokayukta.karnataka.gov.in</a>.
